Website analytics settings
This section covers analytics on the static marketing website, reviewed 2026-10-12. It does not establish identical settings for the Portal, API, or carrier-owned systems.
The website currently pauses the requirement to accept before tracking and the automatic consent prompt. Google Analytics 4 (Google) allows analytics storage by default on the production website without waiting for acceptance in any region. This is a website configuration, not a record of your agreement. A previous or new explicit rejection overrides the default. Ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization remain denied. Advanced consent mode may send cookieless measurements when analytics storage is denied, so rejection does not mean all requests to Google stop.
GA4 supports visit, page, and acquisition analysis and distinguishes rate and demo requests acknowledged by the server. Automatic page views can include URLs, referrers, device and browser information; analytics identifiers may be used when storage is allowed. Custom inquiry events contain only page path, language, form type, and operational event categories, without names, emails, phone numbers, company names, or form contents.
Our own visit analytics uses the SDK and endpoint at api.goshipfast.com and currently loads with production website pages without waiting for explicit acceptance. A valid explicit rejection prevents the SDK from loading. It can process visitor/session identifiers, page URL and title, referrer, device/browser information, and UTM/click-attribution parameters. Inquiry contents are not sent to this SDK. Its backend retention period remains to be verified and is not established by the GA4 setting.
Starting analytics by default does not create an acceptance record. When you explicitly accept or reject through footer Analytics settings, a versioned local-storage record keeps your choice for 180 days across languages on the same hostname. Existing valid choices remain effective; after expiry, the current default applies. If storage is unavailable, the choice is still honored on the current page. Changing your choice does not affect tools or inquiry access. Withdrawal clears identified analytics identifiers; if our SDK was loaded, the page preserves the current inquiry draft and reloads. The draft is only for restoring this page, is cleared after restoration, is not sent to analytics, and is not resubmitted automatically.
The GA4 user/event detail retention setting verified on 2026-10-10 is 14 months. It does not restore previously deleted data or establish the retention of every aggregate report. Implementation references: Google consent setup and advanced mode overview.
