GOFO Express services, U.S. ZIP coverage, and Canada network guide

Compare GOFO with your warehouse locations and real orders. This guide covers where Parcel, Economy, and Ground fit, along with ZIP coverage, surcharges, and tender arrangements.

Start with GOFO through EasyShippingX

Available workflow

Use the Portal, Excel import, or API to rate GOFO shipments, create labels, and view tracking. Once Parcel, Economy, or Ground is selected, the matching product rules apply.

Warehouse and lane fit

Enter the origin ZIP, destination ZIP, weight, dimensions, and contents to check coverage and DAS/DSS/EDAS/EDAS* by product. Gateways help select the lane, and the service plan provides the tender address.

What to send

Send warehouse ZIPs, 30–90 days of destination data or representative orders, monthly volume, weight bands, dimensions, contents, and current carrier. Include pickup/drop-off and Portal/Excel/API preferences.

Validate a small batch

Check coverage and total cost including surcharges, then confirm product, tender address, appointment, and cutoff. Pilot first scan, tracking, available POD, exceptions, and final billing before scaling with a validated fallback.

What GOFO is

GOFO provides last-mile delivery for eCommerce, retailers, and 3PLs across the United States, Canada, and other markets. Parcel, Economy, and Ground fit different parcels and lanes, and can be selected during rating from the origin, destination, and parcel details.

Canadian service footprint

GOFO’s Canadian network spans the following five provinces. Share the origin and destination to see the available lanes and products for the shipment.

For shipments within these five provinces, enter the origin, destination, and parcel details to see the available lane and service conditions.

How to choose Parcel, Economy, and Ground

The three products fit different parcel weights, delivery needs, and transport modes. Share real shipment details when selecting a product, and EasyShippingX will return suitable options using the latest available specifications, coverage, and rates.

ServiceService conditions to verifyTypical fit
GOFO ParcelLongest side ≤ 90 cm, length + width + height ≤ 150 cm, billable weight ≤ 30 lb. See the oversize, overweight, and over-maximum-limit fees below.Standard eCommerce parcels in the 10,569 ZIPs in the retained snapshot.
GOFO EconomyConfirm Economy account availability, coverage, transit, and parcel limits separately; do not reuse the Parcel map.Lightweight parcels prioritizing reach over the tightest transit.
GOFO GroundSupports larger dimensions and heavier parcels than Parcel. Evaluate Ground when Parcel limits are exceeded, then confirm its specifications, contents, packaging, coverage, and acceptance separately.Heavier or irregular parcels inside the Ground footprint.

General goods can be screened against the product rules. For batteries and dangerous goods, provide the classification, packaging, markings, and transport documents so an eligible lane can be selected.

Operational advantages

  • Product tiers: lightweight, economy-reach, and heavy or irregular parcels map to separate services.
  • End-to-end visibility: the published flow includes scheduled pickup, in-transit, warehouse dispatch, and delivery.
  • Hybrid network: self-operated and partner capacity makes ZIP-level evaluation more useful than a regional or national label.
  • Pickup and injection options: warehouses can compare collection and direct handoff cutoffs, thresholds, and cost.

GOFO Parcel coverage snapshot and entry gateways

Unsupported addresses: Delivery to APO/FPO/DPO military or diplomatic addresses and PO Box addresses is not supported, even when the destination ZIP is within the coverage area.

Map source: the GOFO Parcel coverage summary, for Parcel lane screening. Check Economy and Ground coverage separately. Review the summary and limitations, then validate the account, origin, and destination ZIP before shipping.

The retained GOFO Parcel footprint contains 10,569 five-digit ZIPs in 45 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico across WE, TX, GL, MS, FL, PR, and NE. LAX, DFW, IAH, ORD, ATL, SAV, CLT, MIA, JFK, SFO, SEA, and IND are lane entry points; the tender address is provided after the service is arranged.

When comparing GOFO options, select Parcel, Economy, or Ground and provide the origin ZIP, destination ZIP, weight, dimensions, and contents. Include applicable DAS, DSS, EDAS, and EDAS* destination charges and Parcel oversize, overweight, and over-maximum-limit fees in total-cost checks. The service plan provides the tender location and cutoff arrangements. Explore GOFO services · Check Parcel limits and fees · See GOFO coverage and tender details.

GOFO surcharges and Parcel limits

Some serviceable GOFO ZIPs may carry a DAS, DSS, EDAS, or EDAS* destination surcharge. These rules can affect total shipping cost; applicability is governed by the account contract, active rate card, and destination-ZIP validation at label creation.

DASSurcharge category to check before label creation
DSSSurcharge category to check before label creation
EDASSurcharge category to check before label creation
EDAS*Surcharge category to check before label creation

Operationally, validate destination ZIP, service, and surcharge status before quoting and label creation, then compare routes by total cost including applicable surcharges. Recheck common destinations after ZIP or rate-rule updates and keep a fallback carrier available.

GOFO Parcel dimension, weight limits, and fees

GOFO Parcel maximum limits are a longest side of 90 cm (35.433 in), length + width + height of 150 cm (59.055 in), and billable weight of 30 lb (13.608 kg). Exceeding any limit incurs a $100 over-maximum-limit fee per parcel, and GOFO may refuse carriage or delivery.

FeeConditionCharge per parcel
Oversize feeLongest side > 60 cm (23.622 in) and ≤ 90 cm (35.433 in)$15 per parcel
Overweight feeBillable weight > 20 lb (9.072 kg) and ≤ 30 lb (13.608 kg)$15 per parcel
Over-maximum-limit feeAny one condition: longest side > 90 cm (35.433 in); length + width + height > 150 cm (59.055 in); billable weight > 30 lb (13.608 kg)$100 per parcel

Length + width + height is the sum of the three dimensions, not length plus girth. Exactly 60 cm or 20 lb does not trigger the corresponding $15 fee. Exactly 90 cm, 150 cm, or 30 lb does not exceed that maximum limit; check the other conditions as well. Confirm how multiple applicable fees combine against the account rate card.

Refusal, returns, and alternatives for parcels exceeding limits

GOFO reserves the right to refuse carriage or delivery of parcels exceeding the maximum limits. If refused, the shipper may choose return, abandonment, or self-collection. The $100 over-maximum-limit fee applies per parcel under every option. Returns also incur the return fee specified in the rate card, payable by the shipper. Evaluate GOFO Ground for parcels beyond Parcel limits and confirm its dimensions, weight, coverage, and acceptance conditions separately.

These dimension and weight limits and fees follow the GOFO Parcel fee-adjustment notice and apply to customers using GOFO U.S. last-mile delivery. Confirm Ground and Economy rules separately.

Receiving network and operating arrangements

GOFO receiving capacity spans seven operating regions: West, Texas, Great Lakes, Mid-South, Florida, Northeast, and Puerto Rico. These regions support handoffs from different origins and entry gateways. Tender arrangements depend on the account, lane, appointment, and operating plan, so confirm the assigned facility and receiving requirements before shipping.

West (WE)

LAXSupports tender and network injection for Southern California and surrounding lanes.
SFOSupports handoffs for Northern California and Bay Area lanes.
SEASupports Pacific Northwest tender and network handoffs.

Texas (TX)

DFW / IAHDallas- and Houston-area nodes support Texas and surrounding lanes.

Great Lakes (GL)

Great LakesChicago-area nodes connect central U.S. lanes.

Mid-South (MS)

ATL / SAV / CLTAtlanta-, Savannah-, and Charlotte-area nodes support Southeast and Mid-South lanes.

Florida (FL)

MIAA Miami-area node supports tender and network injection for Florida lanes.

Northeast (NE)

JFKA New York metro node connects Northeast tender and delivery lanes.

Puerto Rico (PR)

Regional coordinationPuerto Rico is managed as a distinct operating region; confirm tender and network handoff arrangements for the applicable lane.

Operating arrangements

Typical receiving windowReceiving windows depend on the assigned facility, account, and lane. Confirm the address, appointment, cutoff, operating days, and holiday schedule before tender; do not travel to a network node without an assigned handoff arrangement.
Confirm before tenderBefore arrival, confirm the assigned facility, appointment, cutoff, palletization, unloading, minimum volume, and holiday schedule.

Prohibited and restricted commodities

The following are common prohibited and restricted goods. Batteries and dangerous goods require accurate declarations, compliant packaging, MSDS/SDS files, and other transport documents. Goods outside safety, legal, or lane requirements cannot be tendered.

Examples of prohibited goods

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, unlawful explosives or firearms transactions, and imitation firearms or ammunition.
  • Counterfeit currency or documents, smuggled or stolen property, infringing goods, and items of unknown source or composition.
  • Military or export-controlled goods, biological- or chemical-weapon materials, and unlawfully traded human organs.
  • Tobacco, e-cigarettes, alcoholic beverages, lottery tickets, and gambling items.
  • Medicines, prescription drugs, medical devices, animals, plants, biological materials, and cremated remains.
  • Temperature-controlled or perishable foods, extremely fragile goods, cash or equivalents, and very high-value goods such as jewelry or precious metals.
  • Prohibited dangerous-goods categories such as explosives, flammable gases, high-risk flammable liquids or solids, infectious substances, and radioactive materials.
  • Damaged, defective, or recalled batteries and expressly prohibited standalone lithium-battery types.

Restricted goods requiring prior review

  • Shelf-stable prepackaged food.
  • Certain knives other than switchblades.
  • Specified Class 2.2 nonflammable, nontoxic gases, such as compliant aerosols and certain fire extinguishers.
  • Specified flammable liquids, oxidizers, and corrosive substances.
  • Eligible goods containing installed lithium batteries.
  • Specified magnetic materials and dry-ice shipments.

Dangerous-goods documentation: before tender, restricted dangerous goods require authentic, complete, and valid MSDS/SDS documents, compliant-packaging evidence, required transport documents, emergency-response information, and compliance with applicable regulations and GOFO acceptance conditions.

Where GOFO fits—and where it does not

Good pilot candidatesDo not switch all volume when

Before the pilot

Overseas 3PL, 4PL, and brand teams should record company location, U.S. origin, and destination separately. The Canadian network description does not establish Canadian product activation on an EasyShippingX account. U.S. inventory shipping and post-clearance parcel injection both require confirmation of the GOFO product, account, and receiving facility. Retain quote time, coverage-file version, transport-to-tender cost, accessorials, and final invoices against one matched order file.

After preparing redacted orders, request a rate review. Teams with a WMS/OMS can use the API product and onboarding evaluation to review quote, shipment, first-scan, and invoice relationships.

  1. Import 30–90 days of destinations and use the retained GOFO Parcel footprint to measure eligible volume for each origin warehouse.
  2. Select a supported gateway and receiving center for the origin plan, then confirm the tender location, appointment, cutoff, pallet, unloading, and holiday requirements.
  3. Before quoting or label creation, check whether the destination ZIP carries DAS, DSS, EDAS, or EDAS*, then recalculate total cost with the active rate card.
  4. For Parcel, check the longest side, length + width + height, and billable weight, including oversize, overweight, and over-maximum-limit fees. Evaluate Ground for parcels exceeding limits and confirm Economy and Ground eligibility and coverage separately.
  5. Complete written review, MSDS/SDS, packaging evidence, transport documents, and emergency information for restricted goods; block prohibited goods.
  6. Pilot and reconcile hub tender, first scan, transfer, out-for-delivery, proof, reattempts, returns, exception response, and final invoice.

Using GOFO through EasyShippingX

Use the EasyShippingX Portal, Excel import, or API to rate GOFO shipments, create labels, and view tracking and billing. Orders are screened by product, destination ZIP, DAS/DSS/EDAS/EDAS*, weight, dimensions, and contents; orders that do not match GOFO can move to a configured alternative.

Frequently asked questions

No. GOFO does not deliver to PO Box addresses or APO/FPO/DPO military or diplomatic addresses. A destination ZIP appearing in the coverage file does not make these address types eligible; choose a service that supports the address type.
The GOFO Parcel coverage file contains 10,569 five-digit ZIPs across seven regions and twelve lane entry points. It is not an Economy/Ground or current per-account coverage promise. Query the destination, then confirm product, account, lane, and tender arrangements.
Some serviceable ZIPs carry these destination surcharges. During rating and label creation, the system calculates them from the destination ZIP and applicable rate card.
Receiving windows depend on the assigned facility, account, and lane. Confirm the address, appointment, cutoff, operating days, and holiday schedule before tender; do not travel to a network node without an assigned handoff arrangement.
No. Restricted dangerous goods require prior review plus valid MSDS/SDS documents, compliant-packaging evidence, required transport documents, and emergency-response information. Undeclared, misdeclared, or noncompliant goods are treated as prohibited.
A longest side over 60 cm and up to 90 cm incurs a $15 oversize fee per parcel. Billable weight over 20 lb and up to 30 lb incurs a $15 overweight fee per parcel. A longest side over 90 cm, length + width + height over 150 cm, or billable weight over 30 lb triggers a $100 over-maximum-limit fee per parcel. Confirm how multiple applicable fees combine against the account rate card.

Delivery support or commercial onboarding

GOFO carries parcels; EasyShippingX provides rating, labels, and onboarding for available services. For an existing delivery, use the tracking and support navigation on the carrier’s official site and contact your merchant. Rate requests on this page are for warehouse and 3PL business evaluation.

Validate the product, origin, and destination ZIP before comparing quotes, tender transport, surcharges, and exception costs. Include the coverage-file version and tender method with your sample. ZIP counts summarize that file and are not a live guarantee shared by every product.
