Carrier Comparison

SpeedX vs SwiftX: service terms, charges, and evidence

Decision summary

Both provide eCommerce last-mile delivery. Compare the same origin, destination, and parcel: SpeedX publishes next- and second-day services and a parcel agreement; SwiftX requires matching account products, delivery, and pickup arrangements. Screen shared orders before comparing commitments

Differences in public ZIP totals do not measure qualifying orders from your warehouse. Check gateways, pickup, destinations, contents, and products separately. Split shared-eligible, one-carrier-only, and ineligible orders. Directly compare price and transit in the shared set; use the exclusive sets to measure incremental reach.

SpeedX’s agreement describes a next-business-day first attempt, while SwiftX’s seven-day operation claim does not establish a uniform arrival commitment. Obtain cutoffs, start events, delivery days, and route-specific estimates from both. Do not rank performance using self-reported on-time, volume, or loss figures with unmatched definitions. Quote inclusions and tender costs can differ

SpeedX’s oversize adjustment is permanent, and charging thresholds can be below written-approval thresholds. Charging thresholds differ from acceptance approval: length over 48 in or weight over 50 lb still requires prior written SpeedX approval. Paying a surcharge does not guarantee acceptance. Read SpeedX’s transparent-pricing message alongside its contract fuel and accessorial provisions; fuel and volume amounts depend on the quote. SwiftX’s no-fuel, residential, and peak-fee statements are public positioning. Confirm whether they apply to your service and account, and whether other items are charged. Rate the same packed dimensions, then include inbound transport, pickup or self-tender, sortation labor, minimums, remote areas, reattempts, and returns. A separate long-haul injection for one carrier versus contracted warehouse pickup for another can materially change the result beyond label price.

Validate photos, customer access, and exception handling

SpeedX describes tracking, SMS, and photo POD; SwiftX describes technical and delivery capabilities. Have support verify actual pilot events, photo retrieval, timestamp and placement evidence, and missing-scan or dispute channels. Do not infer superior transparency from positioning alone. For SwiftX, validate the platform’s customer identifier and corresponding entry without interchanging WP and SWX. For both carriers, define acceptance, signatures, liability limits, claims ownership, and deadlines. Photo availability, evidence quality, and claim eligibility are separate questions. Validate the choice with real orders

  1. Match delivery, pickup, gateways, and products for the same origin and orders, retaining the shared eligible set.
  2. Obtain active quotes with inclusions, extra items, and minimums, including inbound transport and operating costs.
  3. Confirm first-attempt and delivery commitments, weekends, contents, signatures, claims, and tracking entries before assigning matched pilot parcels.
  4. Compare consistently defined delivery, POD availability, support time, and final invoices; report exclusive eligible orders separately.

Frequently asked questions

Can SpeedX replace SwiftX because its ZIP total is higher?
No. Measure eligible orders by current origin, gateway, product, parcel, and account. A public total does not establish replacement eligibility.
How is the SpeedX Oversize Surcharge charged, and is it permanent?
The permanent oversize adjustment tests longest side, L+W+H, and weight separately: 24–35.4 in longest side carries $15; over 35.4 in carries $15 plus partner shipping rates. L+W+H of 120–150 cm carries $20; over 150 cm carries $30 plus partner shipping rates. Weight over 30 lb carries $200 plus partner shipping rates. Fixed surcharges are per package. When two types apply, use the higher surcharge; partner shipping rates are provided separately. This adjustment is permanent and continues beyond April 20, 2027. Charging thresholds differ from acceptance approval: length over 48 in or weight over 50 lb still requires prior written SpeedX approval. Paying a surcharge does not guarantee acceptance.
Is SwiftX universally surcharge-free?
The site advertises no fuel, residential, or peak fees, but verify applicability, inclusions, and other charges in the account quote.
Can next-day and operating-day statements be compared directly?
Not directly. Confirm product, receipt-based start, cutoff, first attempt, and delivery. Seven-day operations do not mean next-day arrival on every lane.
Does richer POD necessarily make a claim easier?
No. Liability, evidence, claims ownership, and deadlines still apply. POD supports investigation but does not automatically establish compensation eligibility.
How do we decide whether keeping both is worthwhile?
Check whether incremental reach or independent fallback value exceeds dual tender, sortation, minimum-volume, and support costs, then validate with pilot results and invoices.
